Hows the swimming, im thinking of going but in some parks swimming is only allowed in designated areas and their kind of out of the way so id like to know Especially because i plan on bringing the kids so id like to know how that would affect it

Not much shade around day area. Some shade around camping sites. Swimming is good , water shoes are helpful for little one's because the shell stone may injure feet.

You can swim anywhere but they do have a designated beach for swimming that dogs are not allowed on. Water is usually nice.

Great place for swimming. Not so great for shade near the water in most areas, so bring a popup if you dont to be out in the sun the whole time.

Clean- warm water..... went 2 years ago.....my sister in law used her speed boat to take us to the middle of the lake.... it was great! And kids swimming almost anywhere....
