For the 9am ride you would need to arrive by 8:30 and the ride would be finished by 10:15 at the absolute latest. It’s 1 hour of ride time but sometimes rides leave a smidge late. Reservations must be made at least one hour in advance but there is always the chance of a ride selling out if you wait until the last minute. There is a 24 hour cancellation police but if a trail ride is canceled by the staff for any reason, a refund is issued if you don’t want to reschedule. May is a relatively quite month with the exception of Memorial Day weekend but we do still sell out rides and the 9am is most popular that time of year.
The only reason not to make reservations now would be if you felt the date may fall through. Because of weather or perhaps some other reason. If the stables don't require a non refundable deposit, then just do it now.
They will get busier as that date approaches, I'd reserve the time sooner rather than later. I agree with the 60-90 minutes time allowance.
I would give the trail ride 60-90 min. For your other question...youll have to call them.
