Yes pet smart has a fish that is recommended. Friendly fish it's like a suction cup. This fish eats algae, but I forgot name I think it's Pacsstomis.
The fish everyone's talking about is a plecostomus, or just pleco. They grow really fast so get a small one. Sunlight and tap water will also grow algae. Don't use petsmart's water. Use a decent tank filter and use RO water, keep the tank out of the sun, and get one pleco and you should be good.
Use Google Google it
I agree with Rebecca there is really pretty algae fish that you can get they only grow to the size of your tank and they will keep your tank clean but there is also a tank cleaner that you can get it's a magnet one piece goes on the inside and one goes on the outside so you can clean the tank every day with it just run the magnet along the outside of the tank and the one on the inside was clean your tank.. PetSmart is really great if you go in and speak to them they will hook you up with anything that you think you need with many different options to clean your tank and keep it clean..
Petsmart will set you up what to use and the Alge Fish really clean your whole tank all the time and they're very pretty ones which dress up your tank even more, fun to watch them work.
There is water conditioner and something to help with the algae or algae eating fish.
