This is not a lake in any way as another person has Said this is the Hudson river and yes there is a swimming beach that requires tickets. Personally I wouldn't swim that water. It's definitely not the what I'd consider clean and I've seen the run off from the land fill that is the hill in the middle of the park. That being said there is in relative shirt distance other park and watershed property that you can swim +watershed at your own risk no lifeguard)
It's a lake called a beach, swimming is allowed Wednesday thru Sunday
The park is beautiful, plenty of space for everyone to enter the park they charge you 10 dollars and if you want to go swimming you pay 3 dollars for children and 4 dollars for adults. The water is very dirty I do not recommend it but of each one if they want to swim
