What do you mean license, to go fishing to the pier is $4 for person and car, and you don't need a license, it will cover you as long as your fishing there
Paying to fish the north or south Skyway fishing piers include a fishing license with entry. So you're good to go!

No need for a license on the pier. But if you're a Florida resident and want to fish from shoreline you can get a free salt water license at Walmart or any other sports outfitter. If fishing from a boat, jetski, canoe,kayak or use one of those to get out to an island you'll need the paid for salt water fishing license. Which is 17$ and snook stamp for either license if you plan on catching and keeping snook that's 10$
