I have been to the store once before but had limited time and the store was crowded. Since I have many proof coin sets, other US coins of pre-1965, silver spoons, foreign coins and some other items, should I make an appointment?

I don't think you need an appointment though you can call Ed and make one he is very accommodating to his customers also if you got to the shop for 10 am when he opens it's less likely to be crowded
