Mine took a couple of years to settle in and get established before it bloomed.
The Kousa Dogwood flowers later than other dogwoods, for us it's usually June. The ones we have in the field have leaves but no blooms yet so it may still bloom for you this year. They can be fickle when they are young as well and may go a year or two without blooming and then start blooming consistently. Be sure to keep up regular fertilizer in spring and fall, we recommend Holly Tone since it is an acid loving plant and that's an organic fertilizer. Also, they set their buds in late August for the next year so if anyone pruned it in the fall or spring they could have cut off the buds for the blooms.
