When is the campground expected to open? We live in North Carolina and will be visiting family in Taunton from Aug. 10 until about Aug. 20. when can we apply for reservations?

I made a delivery there last week was told camping area would be open starting Aug. 18th

I will go to the park this afternoon and read the sign, better yet I will get a pic and send it to this site, however I was there yesterday and the construction looked like they had a while to go...no reservations yet for sure, I would look elsewhere, good luck...

They are opening next week!

Id suggest looking elsewhere for camping but you could still visit and enjoy the area.
