They do have a gorgeous playground. I know that they have some grills in the camping areas, but I don't think I've ever seen a gazebo. However, Watson State Pond, also in Taunton, does have a large gazebo area about the size of a carport. It also has a playground not as nice as Massasoit State Park though. They also have grills that you can use. The only thing about the gazebo is that since it's free, it's first come first serve. Most people get there early and set up for birthday parties. I prefer Massasoit it's much cleaner and it's in a better area of Taunton. You could probably call the park ranger and ask them if you could put up a portable awning like the ones people used to tailgate. And I'm pretty sure you can bring your own Grill if you really need it to where they can point you in the direction of an area that has grills for you to use for your party. Good luck and happy birthday to your son.
You're better off with Ames Nowell State Park in Abington
