It's actually a common misconception that the park was created by Frederick Olmsted who created central park. He created Highland park in Rochester, which is associated with the lilac festival.

Festivities during the summer and fall; The Spanish Fest. The Tulip Fest. Nice park to walk your pets (as long as you clean up after them, so bring your bag. Lol) Also of course there is a large playground area. I believe they still have plays there at the theatre.

It also contains a dog park where dogs can be off-leash. There is quite a nice group of dogs and people that go there.

Take a stroll by the park, or by the lake... Catch a show in the open air romanesque amphitheater... Ride your bike or jog, smell the flowers! Or just lay in the grass and watch the clouds!
