Why does the hiring manager at this McDonald's hire people who clearly don't want to work here? That makes for crummy service and a bad experience for the customers.

McDonald's - All questions

Address: 409 E Main St, Price, UT 84501, USA

No, working at McDonald's isn't ideal. Some of us, like myself, really actually enjoy working there, but a lot of these people are high school kids, and just have a bad attitude. Some if the people that work there are just unpleasant, but it is the only job they could find in the area because jobwise, Carbon County isn't the greatest. I am really sorry if you came through and had a bad experience, things should start to get better because we have a new owner and a new general manager who are putting in a lot of effort, new employees, and a lot of changes that will turn out for the better.

You will find that most of the places here have bad customer service. I have found that it has been a bit better since the changes. I hope it keeps up.

That answers why I can't get a 1/4 pounder with out cheese

Because the economy in Carbon County is pretty bad job wise. It's true people would rather work somewhere else other than a fast food joint, but they take what they can get to survive. Also, maybe during the interview they were extremely fake and fooled the hiring manager!
