Ask someone at bar for a "get out of jail card". I parked in left gated lot (no valet) and got ticket from bar for free exit.

Parking should be free for the restaurant. Sections of the parking lot may be closed for the renovation.
All you need to do is ask a bartender or a server. Parking will be validated for An Tobar patrons. All you need to do to get past the gate is to print a ticket, and present that ticket to your service person
