You bet. Disney wants your money!
Yes. You can also go to a customer experience service location at the entrance of any of the parks and load money onto a "magic band" that'll allow you access for any of your applicable rides as well as purchases.
Cash is always acceptable but yes out of convenience you definitely load up either a gift card or a magic band as they're usable pretty much anywhere on Disney property same as cash and you don't have to worry about carrying it especially if it's a band as it's strapped to you and you can link everything to the Disney app and monitor all balances and transactions and even buy/order ahead of time with it
Of course...some people like to buy a disposable gift card so they dont have to keep making change with each purchase.
Yes
Yes but some gift shops/food stands are card or magicband only
Depends on where you use it we have a harder time with quick service eating they wanted you to use the app
Yes, cash is King.

Yes. Disney accepts all forms of payment. Gladly.
Yes it is.
Disney will take pretty much any type of payment you want to give them!!
Gift cards are better. They have lots of cool designs to chose from and they are reloadable. I have one that os shaped like the mickey ice cream bar (half the size of a credit card) and it has a hole for keychain so i can carry it on a lanyard. Bonus...if you keep a copy of the card numbers and pin in a safe place, you can likely get it replaced if you lose it. They have the ability to shut off the card. Better then cash that falls out of yout pocket.
Yes, but they actively encourage using credit cards or Disney's own gift cards and dining cards because they are faster than counting cash and making change plus they are contactless.
Yes some locations may have you pay at a different location if you want to pay with cash but they accept it.

I was there yesterday and it was still cashless
Yes, however some rolling carts that sell things only take cards so you may want to put some money on a gift card to purchase things there
