Good evening,  What happens if its raining or forecasts of rain on the project/event day, for this will be my first project/event? Thanks

This is a warehouse. If your a volunteer most you will likely be sorting food items into their respective categories indoor. Weather will not make a difference to your activities.

If it rains or forecasts for rain, then they will either cancel the outdoor activitiy/event or move it indoors to the warehouse. You would possibly be notified by email if it cancels. Be sure to wear closed toe shoes though because that's the rule in order to work inside the warehouse. So, just in case they have to move your event inside then you will be prepared.

The food bank is indoors. Unless you were to unload trucks, weather should not affect you. Besides that, here was plent of work to do inside of the facility. It was raining the day that I went, as well.
