As a Dasher, for the first time this morning i had to deliver food from Capital Area Food Bank to two different places. To my surprise, both locations were large single houses in very nice neighborhood where the average home value is $800 000 (i checked), believe me i thought my GPS had made a mistake but no, i was at the right place both times. OUTRAGEOUS!!! Before you donate food, money or your time, make sure it is delivered to people who really need it.

You could find a food pantry in your area. Your zip code
This is a warehouse. If your a volunteer most you will likely be sorting food items into their respective categories indoor. Weather will not make a difference to your activities.
