Yes we had two. It's best to do that because even during a weekday you don't know if they're going to have openings. And you can pay online at the time you make the reservation.
Depends on when you want to visit. If it's a weekday during work hours, it's not very busy, but Friday evening through Sunday evening is full.
You're only guaranteed space if you make a reservation. I've seen walk-ins on occasion, but not worth the risk
