I don't know of any body of water in Florida that doesn't have gators. And they go from lake to lake during breeding season
There are alligators in any lake in Florida
While I’ve never seen one in there, there might be a Florida alligator. Making its way to Crane’s Roost as I type this answer. In Florida- there can be an alligator in any body of water- even swimming pools on occasion. If you come across one, please don’t feed it!
