As a fellow shopper, this isn't a question I would be able to answer under the shopping review criteria response, I think it's best suited to reach out to Walmart.com, for their corporate offices to respond. As for the store managers response to your complaint, I think they are very possibly following orders from corporate, and also trying to keep their jobs, so should you reach out to the corporate office about the problem, you may very well get a result.
I'm sorry as I don't work for Wal Mart I can't answer that question. But it is a great question email there corporate office let them know how you feel I don't like self service my I like face to face with the hard working people to me get a smile or a kind word as they put up with us the public. Were not always Nice or we blame the first employees we see for what ever our problem is those poor employees don't make that much money for what they put up with.
