Steve, it depends on time and day of the week, in season or out of season. In season weekends they're very busy. Mid week off season, walk in is fine. Also, if you want an outside table on the patio, you would do better with a reservation. Or inside window table. If seating location doesn't matter, then just showing up (off season) is fine. Food is very good there, by the way!
It depends!! We were there in April & stopped in for a late lunch before flight home. Got a table for 8 outside on deck & worked out fine.
