Is it true that if you are out of Florida and have a medical emergency that Freedom will not cover?

According to a Freedom rep You must notify Freedom 14 days in advance if you leave the state to have some coverage and keep them from notifying you that you will be dropped because you are out of service area.

No that's not true. As long as you go to the emergency room or an urgent care facility then it is covered. If you just go to a doctor's office then it's not covered unless the doctor gets an authorization
