Gmo is only a negative thing when it is used to unfair advantage over others. Unless you are going to charge your neighbors for any of your seeds that inadvertently blow onto their land and germinate, you're fine.
You'll find heritage and generically motified plants. We're not talking corn, soy beans & wheat. Tomatoes bred to withstand Florida's heat. Vegetable plants that are disease resistant, ect.
