How do we get to Giant trees? The park is huge and I am not sure how much time do I need to to spend there and where I can stay, that will be central. I need a cabin/hotel or something with bathrooms, plumbing, kitchen. Thanks.

You can spend a lot or a little time actually in the park. Many of the sights are near or along the main road. The last time that I was there, I didn't have a lot of time. So I stayed on the main road, made a few stops and then kept going out the other end.

The Sequoia Village Inn is a great place to stay right next to the park entrance. There are several hotels right there. The best place to park is the lot up by Giant Forest Museum. You can take the free tram to all the popular landmarks.
