Yes, STPS does do beach clean ups. Check out our website for specific dates. We are also part of the Take 3 campaign advocating for everyone to pick up 3 pieces of trash when they go to the beach and the Skip the Straw initiative to prevent trash from getting there in the first place.
Do not swim in the lagoon with KBB. The lagoon has had major sewage spills and KBB is aware and still holds clean ups. They need to keep their garbage numbers high to keep their "Paid City Contracts" going. Along with their Grant money. Want to join a huge movement? 4Ocean! Or just go to the beach with bucket and grabbers from Home Depot and do your part. There are many more organizations that are truly legit non Profits. Keep Brevard Beautiful is not one of them. Support real non Profits that do not have city and county paid contracts. KBB tries their best to keep these contracts a secret.
I'm not aware of them doing beach clean ups but I don't know 100%. Keep Brevard Beautiful does often and even does kayak ones in the IRL and supply the kayaks. Hope that helped a bit.
