Baker acted or the Marchman Act can be dramatic but an option...find counsel anywhere for a less dramatic way to help her...unless she is a danger to herself.
If the pediatrician advised it, may be a good idea. We can armchair a diagnosis, but baker acting is for dangerous cases, suicidal, harming themselves, chemical dependency. If peed doc is saying so, there must be a reason. She won't like you for it, but it may save her life.
My advice would be to take her to Right Path Meridian, Riverpoint or Lakeview Youth Crisis would be my last resort.
