Because its a lot of employees that dont wanna work but want a check for not working
When I go there is only one cashier checking customers out, they need more cashiers.
They do need to open more cashier when the line is 8 people deep.

Trying to cut labor but they can't have labor hrs if customers can't buy them hello walmart !
