I had the worst first for both hips and everything bad happened because he just doesnt care. I had such a complicated case last yr when the ball of first replacement was upside down the doc recommended to me referred me to another doc in same practice-Dr.Steven Bradley Daines. He was awesome-both in skill and caring. But for uncomplicated normal hip replacement the one recommended by my pain doc would have been great as well. (Dr. Richard Moore) But Dr. S.Bradley Daines was the one that did mine. I'm pretty sure he does mostly the complicated ones. In my opinion They are both great. They are at St. Als Joint reconstruction & Preservation Clinic. One Very important fact-my first hip surgeon who I would Never allow near me again is in same practice-Dr. McGee. Hope this helps and sorry for the lengthy answer.
Thanks for your help. I need a doctor who understands pain management. The first doctor I talked to was adamant about discontinuing the use of oxycodone use prior to surgery. I gave him a copy of a report that supports the continuation of the use of pain medication prior to surgery and post operative use of same. How do you view?
