DWR asked us to put cat feces waste in our regular garbage can, which I have been doing, reusing plastic grocery bags to contain it. A store clerk today told me one could put cat waste (if not in plastic) in the organics cart. Is that your policy?

It is my understanding that cat waste has something in it that shouldn't go in green waste. I'm pretty sure that the Davis instructions ask that you don't put animal waste in the green bins.
