I dont recall being offered ANY type of sedation, and when I inquired I was told that I could be sedated for an additional fee that my insurance (Delta) wouldnt cover. So I went to my doctor and got a couple valium and I was fine. I was actually pretty impressed with Dr. Belusko. He did six extractions in a rather short period of time with no pain to speak of. He did an ample amount of novacaine. I also did not experience any undue pain or swelling in the following days and that was impressive as well.
Yes, they offer two types of sedation. I have extreme anxiety and usually do both together. Dr. Belusko will walk thru the options with you and help you find the right fit. Absolutely LOVE Dr. Belusko.
