I ordered from several different sellers with products I really want but there is a natural disaster that will keep the mail from running. I asked the sellers to hold off on shipping but they have to abide by eBay shipping rules. What can I do?

The sellers can still mark the item as shipped regardless of whether they actually shipped it. That's because there's not automation to it, unless they use EPS, which is a means that the sellers send via ebay/PB service. But if you both agree, you can ask the seller to act as if they've fulfilled the transaction, then ask them to send once you're able to accept mail. Another option you have, is to have the seller send your item to someone you trust who will forward it to you later. That actually may be a better option.
