Perhaps you perceived your service as "slow" precisely because the pizza is great and the place is almost always packed! Do you actually expect your wait staff to be in five places at one time (your table first, by all means!) Incidentally, regarding the wait staff as being "rude," it helps to realize that definitions have changed. The word "rude" used to mean unfriendly, abrupt, uncaring, etc. To many people these days, the word "rude" simply means that someone did not make them the complete center of attention at all moments. That is not what constitutes rudeness on the parts of others. It merely certifies your malignant narcissism. The family-run Old Shawnee Pizza (OSP) has served multiple generations of families for about 50 years. It seems to me that all evidence of consistent excellence is on OSP's side!!! Just like always!

I have always had good, quick service and have been going there for twenty years. I hope it was just someone having an off night. Maybe someone called in sick.
We have had awesome service for large parties. Not slow, they were prepared for us.
Never had slow, never had poor service ir server. no clue where they were eating but it wasn't there.

I've never had a problem with service here. Normally friendly and quick as it can be. It is quality dinning not fast food.
