I live in Kansas. I work in a branch office in Kansas. The office for the overall market is in Missouri. I have two W-2's , one for MO and one for KS. Both have the SAME wages listed. To me, this looks like I make twice. How do I proceed?

While, I don't give tax advice this is more of a state issue than an IRS issue. Typically you would paythe tax in the non-resident state and then file for acredit in your state of residence.

You make just one amount, taxed twice in both states but to be sure call your office HR, if is a mistake they will. Let you know.
