Is the IRS Kansas City MO office open? I sent my documents in July 2020 and until now there's no feedback, despite numerous calls, where I am told to continue waiting.

Yes its open but processing in very slow because the manpower isnt at work

If you are wanting to process forms with the IRS, online is your best option. Like Dale stated, the manpower is down due to Covid-19. Teleworkers can process online forms easily at home though.
