Pine shavings are great bedding. LA Guinea Pig Rescue has a huge bundle for only $25 (it lasts me about 4 months and I have a 3X5 cage). Fleece blankets without an absorbant lining are not good bedding- unless you have something underneath to absorb the urine, that is.

I live a few hours away from the rescue, would I still be able to adopt two skinny pigs from them? They would be in a small cage for the road trip. I've checked all the rescues near me and none have skinny pigs.
