how long does the 4 course meal take? we have theater at 8. what would be a good time to come in so we are not rushed?

2 hours minimum. We were some of the only people in there and it still took a little over 2 hrs.

I'd definitely shoot for 2-2½ hours for the full dinner service, especially if they are busy.

Allow 2 hours for your Fondue meal. Plus adequate travel, parking & line time for your show.
