This sort of thing probably happens more often than we think. So I imagine Target has a policy which their cashiers would follow. If you spimply left the store, you also didn't get your receipt. If so, hopefully you remember the date and approximate time bc it will help when reviewing the tape. I'm confident that you will get your money back thought.
Target is pretty amazing with their customer service. Go to their help desk where you do returns and tell them about.
Yes, go to customer care and sjow them your teceipt. They have camrras. They can check your transaction. Besides, the cashier must have turned it in. Hopefully.
