How did it get it's name?

Santa Ines was named in honor after Saint Agnes. The spanish name for Agnes is Ines and that it why it is named Santa Ines.

It was named after St. Agnes, the patron saint of rape survivors, engaged couples and people who love to garden.

Named after the original mission Saint Ines, that translates to more languages (Portugese,,Lativan,Spanish, Japanese). traced it to Albanian the means "ours"

The Missionaries Franciscans from Spain chooses it's name, long, long time ago. Between the 1400s and 1500s !!!
