How early can you check bags

The American Airlines policy is four(4) hours. I don't think that I would check them until about 2 hours or so. Twice i have checked bags close to the four (4) hour policy and sure enough, my bags did not arrive until the next day. Closer to flight time, never had a problem... Enjoy...

When I was there a few weeks ago on AA you could only check your bags 4 hours or less early.
