No unfortunately not you need both your state ID and your medical marijuana card and they both have to be up to date they are no longer accepting cards that are past due the state of New Jersey has to figure out a way of taxation and regulation before they will allow recreational purchases hope this helps if you're looking for recreational I'd say check out some neighboring states!!
Until the State organizes a way to be sure medical marijuana license holders are able to continue to be adequately supplied, recreational use is unavailable but will happen soon.
