I have a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee also. I was quoted $250.00 for the hitch, but wiring is extra. Probably$200. But the grand cherokee comes prewired in the bumper.
Not sure about the cost but you have to factor in that you will need wiring too (if you plan to tow a trailer). A hitch usually takes about an hour and the wiring anywhere from 1-1.5 hrs. Hector is one if the installers, great guy. I highly recommend making an appointment instead of just showing up.
