Yes, day and night. Not real well lit at night . cars have been broken into. No restrooms there. Nearest gas station mile away. Very strong current.small children should be well supervised. Guess what? They just built restrooms at foot of pier! And a playground for kids. Nice little park to top off the pier!
Ya It should be fine. you can see your car so if a cop comes you can walk over and talk to them.
