I applied for real ID on May 3, and got a confirmation back. I could not schedule appointment online then. The confirmation says that I could have Express Experience by going to Start Here window directly. Can I do that?

I went yesterday for my real id card. No appointment needed. Make sure you have uploaded all the documents online and got the confirmation number with the stop sign. Go to DMV and go to the appointment line and a person outside will check your originals and give you a number. A message will be send to you mobile with the number and you can wait for the next message which says which window to go to. I got the second message in 15 minutes. Entire process took 39 to 45 minutes for me.good luck.

If you're going to the DMV, it's not necessary to upload your documents, simply bring them with you; however, make sure you complete the application online so that you also have a confirmation number.

Same with me. You have be able to go to the office and go to the shorter line for appointments only even though you might not have one but make sure to bring all your documents. Good luck
