Looking for a place to shoot while sons are in for the holiday. Is the range open to public to see if I want to do a membership? What would fee be?

Sorry, the club's indoor range is not open to the public, only to members and guests. Try the public ranges (http://rvssa.org) at the Jackson County Sports Park (http://jacksoncountyor.org/parks/Day-Use/Sports-Park) instead.
