Hello, My passport expired and i got my new passport, but my Chinese Visa is good for 8 more years in my old passport . Do I have to apply for a new visa for my new passport? Please advice, Thank you.

If old passport has visa good for 10 years. Bring both old/new passport when you enter China

Yes you would have to apply for a new visa on your new passport. Your Visa is good for up to the lifetime of your passport/ visa which either expires first.
