Yes thay only take reservations for partys.

Reservations are not necessary unless you have a party larger than 6 people.

I also think they only take reservations for large parties. There is usually room in the large room to the left of the main room.

I believe they only take reservations for big parties. There is usually a decent wait during the dinner rush. Especially if the outside patio is closed. Sometimes you can get a seat at the bar during the rush.
