First time eating here although we know it's been there for years. Our waiter Jeff recommended the special for Father's day, smoked ribs. My husband LOVED THEM! I enjoyed my filet medallions too. Atmosphere and service were top notch along with the food. FYI our check automatically included a 20% gratuity. That was a little unusual for there just being 2 of us but I thought maybe they do this on holidays. This was the first time this has ever happened to us eating anywhere. We tip 20% minimum but wanted to mention this just so you're aware.

Old school vibe with great service! Loved the oysters Rockefeller, Greek salad and the cod. The salmon and asparagus were great, too. Perfect spot for a Father’s Day celebration.

As others have previously mentioned before, I am not one to usually complain or write a bad review. However, i was pretty disappointed with our visit the other night. For starters, the loaf of bread was dark brown and crumbled the moment you tried to pull it apart and the scoop of butter was nearly frozen. 2nd, I made reservations online and in the "Comments/Requests" box, I requested that after dinner, they bring one slice of cheesecake with a candle, for my husbands birthday. Once we were done with our appetizer and dinner, the waiter brought our check and handed it to my husband, who's birthday it was. What's the point in having a "comments/requests" box if it's not even being read?! I then got up and went to the hostess and let her know the situation and within a few minutes, the cake with candle was finally delivered. Not at all a surprise by then. Lastly, my husband is NOT one to send his food back so he ate a "well done" steak that was supposed to be "medium". $45 dollar steak! I still left 20% gratuity, only because I don't feel as though the waiter was at fault but can honestly say, I won't be returning ANYTIME soon!

First off, I do want to preface this by saying generally I never complain about anything, but when you pay for a pricey service, you expect something quality. That said, we were very excited to try this restaurant for a few years and finally did. The positive parts was the staff was very friendly and atmosphere was nice. The negative part for starter was ordered the Crab cake appetizer for $18 which turned out to be only one that was smaller than the size of a hockey puck. My wife and I then ordered the filet and lobster tail for $65 each and requested for the steaks to be medium prepared. The entree came with a side salad which consisted of what appeared to be 15 pieces of arugula, one cucumber chip and a carrot chip. When we received our entree, the steaks were not only well done, but also room temperature and dry. Same for the temperature of the lobster tail which told me they were sitting for a little while before it was brought out. In addition, we each ordered two drinks (2 beers and 2 old fashions) which totaled about $205. If you do the math, for four drinks we were charged somewhere around $40. As being someone who does not complain, I recognize that it was not the fault of our server who still received a 20 percent gratuity, but the overall experience was not good and would not recommend for the price.
