Very very wonderful meal. Would not recomend taking your kids here or anyone under 14. Very complex tastes. Amazing, very attentative service. Only note I have is that, if you get the prosciutto, they do hand cut it there. I had a shard of bone in ours. Be mindful of that. Otherwise, outstanding, and great. Pricey, but one of the nicer places to eat in ST. Louis.

Scheduling staff was very sweet and patient when I kept calling to move our reservation back when we were running behind. Once we arrived we were seated immediately. Waiter was very informative and nice. Food was delicious. Gave my husband choice of free dessert for his birthday as well as honored the $25 off birthday coupon we had. We will definitely be back. The pricing for the quantity of food is worth it. Only thing we didn't like were the amount of Oysters provided with the Oysters Rockefeller for $18 you get 5, but they didn't seem like much meat on the shell as we're use to having. Great portions with everything else we ordered. And the pineapple martini is strong.

Super good food and very well prepared. I've tried all of the steak restaurants in the area and Gilberts is the best around. The wood fired grill adds a wonderful layer of flavor and the cuts of meat and the meat quality are the best around. The bread is fresh baked and the sides are really good too along with being included with your meal. Also a beautiful facility with an nice patio. While it is a bit pricey, it is an excellent place for more special occasions.

Food and service were impeccable. Wine is overpriced. I found the same bottles for about $12/piece less. I guess that's to be expected. Steak literally melted like butter! One of the few places that will actually serve medium rare when you ask for medium rare. Loved the atmosphere, too. Will be back for sure!
