The Midas on Main Street has been nothing but great to us. That someone feels they are a rip off, means that they may have found a bad shop. Doesn't mean all are bad .. I'd try Midas on Main in Danbury.

The ABS light staying on steadily is generally just a bad sensor, which is more likely than something else being brokej because of the low mileage. I would say dont worry about fixing it because learning to be able to brake under stressful conditions without slamming the brakes makes you a better and safer driver. I would go to an empty parking lot and go about 20-25 MPH and see if the brakes lock up when you slam them. If your ABS prevents that from happening then its generally not worth fixing.

Generally when the ABS light is on the ABS system is disabled because a fault has been detected. Have your car scanned for codes, that will point you in the right direction to determine the problem. It could be just a bad wheel speed sensor.
