Question - if someone was diagnosed w ADHD as a child, but has been off all medications for nearly 6 yrs, would that keep them from getting in? Asking for a friend...

I know someone who was immediately DQ'd for it, even though there was documentation proving this person was off meds. It's as though BUMED never even read the file. This person was trying to get into the Navy, but they won't give an answer. Their first answer was an emphatic no, due to the ADHD. Thoughts????? Is the ANG a bit more lenient when it comes to that?
