I'm really impressed by the great achievement of WWHSS of 1000-Nurse-Arrival to US as today. This is a job well done. But if I may ask this question does it mean CNAs are not really important because I feel all attention is only on RN with NCLEX. Though I asked this question during one of the webinars that could one start her nursing journey and career to US as CNA? Anyways, an example was sited of a woman now a Director of Nurses came into US as CNA. We, the candidates that apply for position of CNAs are somehow/stylishly abandoned we are not updated of what is really going on with the position. I am very sorry if it seems I am bothering the team, I don't mean to- just that I am really curious why it seems we -applicants for CNAs are just second-hand. Although, I love WWHSS policy but it seems personally, if I am really not making a right decision for applying for CNA. Though the beginning might be small but the latter shall be great. This is my opinion. I stand to be corrected. Thanks for being there.

It takes a long time for case manager to respond to inquiries once candidate is in the US, support and assistance are lessened. SSN were delayed for more than a month because there is no proper communication between the mailroom staff and case managers. Other than that, I am grateful that they help me achieved my American Dream.

Hello. IELTS is not required to apply for a Nurse Aide position. Nurse Aide applicants need to have a minimum of 1 year current in-patient bedside nursing experience and a formal nursing education from an accredited school. Regarding the question "What are the requirements for nursing assistance?": Please note that there is currently a waiting list to apply for a Nurse Aide or Nurse Assistant position due to a large number of applications already received. However, we are accepting applications for RNs who have passed the NCLEX-RN exam, experienced dialysis nurses and Medical Laboratory Technologists.
Hello, Ogochukwu. Yes. We have had a tremendous response to this announcement on our social media channels. Please follow our social media channels for further updates on this position as well as other nursing positions.
Good information.
Hello Benard. We love working with dialysis RNs! Please apply for one of our available dialysis RN positions in the U.S. at https://healthstaff.org/dialysis-nurse/ and our recruiting team will contact you with available positions and facility locations.
To apply to work as a RN in the United States, nurses must first pass the NCLEX-RN exam. In some cases (depending on the healthcare employer), we also accept an ATT (scheduled test date to take the NCLEX-RN exam). Nurses should also have 1-3 years minimum in-patient bedside experience at a formal healthcare facility.
NCLEX is required to work as a RN in the United States. However, NCLEX is not required to work as a Nurse Aide in the United States.
It is a pleasure to be working with you, Khjean. We love working with experienced nurses from around the world.
Hello, Victoria. Thanks for asking. Here are the requirements for Nurse Aides to apply: • You must have completed a formal nursing education program. • You must have minimum 1 year current bedside experience. • You must have strong English speaking and writing skills. Unfortunately, the answer is no to your second question. You will need to complete the above requirements before we can schedule an interview with you for employer sponsorship. Completing your NCLEX exam will give you an extra edge as most healthcare employers in the United States need RNs!
Enyinnaya, if you are a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of bedside in-patient experience and have completed your NCLEX certification or currently working on completing your NCLEX certification, please email your current resume/CV to our recruiting team for consideration at https://healthstaff.org/apply-healthcare/
Most of the hospitals and healthcare employers we work with require 2-3 years of bedside nursing experience and NCLEX certification. IELTS is not needed to apply, but will need to be completed later in the application process and our team can help.
Yes. Please email your current resume/CV to our recruiting team for consideration at https://healthstaff.org/apply-healthcare/
Please note that there is currently a waiting list to apply for a Nurse Aide or CNA position due to a large number of applications already received. At this time we are accepting applications for RNs who have passed the NCLEX-RN exam, experienced dialysis nurses and Medical Laboratory Technologists at https://healthstaff.org/apply-healthcare/
Healthcare assistants pay depends upon the number of years of experience that the applicant brings in addition to the location of the healthcare facility. Larger metropolitan areas (New York or Los Angeles) tend to offer higher wages than smaller rural areas, however, the standard of living is higher in those larger metropolitan areas.
We do not have any Health Aide or Nurse Aide courses available, but we do recommend visiting https://www.rachellallen.com/ if you are interested in preparing and studying for the NCLEX-RN exam to work as a RN in the USA. It is recommended to take the NCLEX-RN exam first to receive an opportunity for one of the many available RN positions in the USA. While there is currently a wait list for Nurse Aides to apply, the Nurse Aides already in progress are welcome to take NCLEX upon arrival in the USA to advance to an RN position.
Foreign nurses interested in applying to immigrate and work in the U.S. are welcome to apply at https://healthstaff.org/apply-healthcare/
If you recently interviewed with a healthcare employer through WWHSS, please follow up directly with your recruiter for the latest updates.
The most important thing you can do is take and pass the NCLEX-RN exam to apply to work as a RN in the USA. Current experience working in an in-patient bedside nursing position is also needed.
Hello. Typically, it takes 18-24 months from interview to arrival in the United States for a Nurse Aide applicant.
Nurse Aides do not need to take the NCLEX-RN exam to apply for a Nurse Aide position in the U.S. It is recommended to have a BSN degree and have a minimum of 1 year current experience working as a nurse in an in-patient bedside setting in a modern healthcare facility. Nurse Aide applicants must also have completed a formal nursing education program and have strong English speaking and writing skills.
If you are a RN who has passed the NCLEX-RN exam, please let us know. Nurses who have not passed the NCLEX-RN exam may still be considered for a Nurse Aide position, but please be aware that our recruiting team receives a large number of applications from nurses around the world for a limited number of Nurse Aide positions. Not all Nurse Aide applicants will be scheduled for an interview.

Nurse Aide status tends to be more closely aligned to a CNA position rather than LPN position in relation to responsibilities and pay.
Yes. We recruit Nurse Aides (similar to LPNs) in addition to recruiting RNs.
It is recommended at this time to complete NCLEX first and apply as an RN since there are many more RN opportunities available in locations across the United States.
Chizoba, once you submit your resume, our recruiting team will review your nursing experience for consideration in setting up an interview with a healthcare employer. From the point of application to an interview can be anywhere from a few weeks to a few months depending on the RN position timeline.
