There are busses, monorails, and skyliners to help you get around the property. Disney has a reservation system so you would most likely need to decide in advance. All four parks offer something different. I would look to see what rides, shows, and characters are at each park and then match them to your kids interest. Food is going to be additional, but WDW does allow you to bring in outside food as long as it meets their guidelines. mainly no glass, alcohol.
If you go Park to park you need tickets for different parks. Right now all dining is via reservation or mobile app orders
There are multiple ways to get around the resort. Depending on where you stay, you may have access to different modes of transportation. If you are staying at Carribean Beach, Rivera, Pop Century, and Art of Animation, then you have access to the skyliner, which is super fast. Every Disney resort has bus access, but you might wait a while. I would say the best park to take kids would be Magic Kingdom. I believe you can pay at the gate, but it is better to pay online so you can customize your trip experience. Dining is not included with the tickets. Have fun on your trip!
Best to buy tickets in advance. Get a "park hopper" so you can take it multiple parks in a single day. Bring suntan lotion and grab a stroller for children.
Buy tickets online. Magic Kingdom for young kids. To go from park to park, you need to purchase a Hopper Pass.
I would advice to buy tickets online, as there will be queue at gate for new ticket purchase. Also you have to buy Park Hopper option which is sold separately than normal tickets, then only you will be able to visit more than 1 park on same day. Else you will have to stay in one part per day. For kids.. Magic Kingdom theme park is best.
There are busses that can take you most anywhere. There's so much to your question but.... Magic Kingdom is best for young ones but none are bad. Food is sold separately You must buy tickets online as far as I know.
